Acceptance
By accessing or using InShifts at InShifts.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use InShifts on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
The service
InShifts is a web application for building weekly shift schedules, managing rosters, publishing read-only staff links, and optional employee self-service features such as time-off requests.
Features may evolve over time. Pay estimates, coverage hints, and compliance metrics are planning aids only — not legal, payroll, or HR advice. You remain responsible for labor-law compliance in your jurisdiction.
Accounts & roles
You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure. Workspace roles (owner, manager, viewer) control what each user can edit or publish.
Owners control billing, venue settings, and invites. Managers may edit schedules and publish within limits set by the product. You are responsible for activity under your account and for who receives manager access.
Your content
You retain ownership of roster, schedule, and venue data you upload or create ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to provide and improve the service — including generating published views and portal pages you enable.
You must have appropriate rights and consents to store employee information in InShifts, including names and schedule details shared via staff links.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use InShifts for unlawful purposes or to harass others.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, scrape other tenants' data, or probe systems.
- Upload malware or interfere with service availability.
- Resell or misrepresent the service without written permission.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations or risks to other users or the platform.
Plans & billing
InShifts offers a free tier with roster limits and paid plans for larger teams or multiple locations. Plan details and pricing are shown on the marketing site and in product settings.
Paid subscriptions, when offered, renew according to the billing terms presented at checkout unless cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Availability
We strive for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages, or force majeure may cause temporary disruption. Beta or preview features are provided as-is and may change or be withdrawn.
Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSHIFTS AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
